Wear floral in the winter time

Florals are definitely a Springtime staple, but that does not mean you can't wear them in Winter season. Just swap the airy pastel dresses, for darker, more vibrant prints, match it with a pair of tights and a jacket, and you are ready to go.

I actually love the idea of wearing floral prints in the colder season - it's so much more unexpected and allows to add vibrancy to any outfit.

Matching military green and nude

Green and nude go together well. Why? The contrasting color for green is yellow. Tone them down, and you've got yourself military, greenish green and nude/beige coordination. Balance it out with an addition of white pieces, and orange-brown accessories.

Military green is one of my favorite colors for color matching. It brings a sense of masculinity into the outfit, and can be easily balanced with elegant or girly pieces.

Some great examples of this color combination:

How to wear purple or aubergine skinny jeans?

Purple is the quintessential fall color, that can easily be transitioned into winter. So if you still haven't invested in a pair of purple skinny jeans, I strongly encourage you to do so.

1. Style it with black and white - purple styles extremely well when matched with black and white geometric prints, or even color blocking. It's a perfect clothing item to match with a geometric print oversize cardigans, that became so popular recently.

2. Wear it with an animal print scarf - a plain shirt or sweater, and a huge scarf, and you are ready to go. All warm purple tones match very well with leopard print, so if you have any other accessories like bags or shoes with that wild print, it's gonna fit perfectly!

3. Style it with white and gold - go for a cool toned white shirt and absolutely overload your outfit with chunky gold pieces, and you will look FAB! The cool tone white will provide a contrast to the berry tone of your skinnies, while the gold will ad a warm accent. This is just perfect to wear that chunky gold statement necklace, that just does not seem to go with anything.

4. Wear it with camel / beige on top - this may not be everyone's cup of tea, but beige being the natural contrast color for purple and berry tones, is also a viable choice to match. Add a pop of other colors, like orange, red or light blue to bridge the gap on the color wheel for this combination.

5. Go for the classic faux leather jacket - a plain grey or white tee, and a leather jacket... You can't go wrong with that. But in this coordination the purple skinny jeans will add a playful and warm element, to balance the harshness of the jacket.

5 easy ways to style animal print pants

Animal print pants have been all the rage recently. The popular variety is loose and baggy, promising comfort, as you run about your day. Don't miss out on this trend! It' s the perfect opportunity to bring out your inner lioness :)

1. Style it classy - a white top, white blazer and signature investment bag will off-set the bold print. Alternatively, go with a black blazer, although this combo is a bit more harsh.

2. Style it casual - with a plain white top and a statement colorful necklace or outer piece. Cute, but still on the wild side.

3. Style it colorful - leopard print matches extremely well with peach pink or classical chambray blue. Those colors create a more eye-catching coordination, but it's a well balanced one.
Cobalt blue is the best accent color for peach pink

4. With beige or camel colored outerwear - beige complements animal prints. Best combination is to use a bigger outer piece like a jacket or over-sized blazer to provide enough color balance for the pants. Go for a shirt in darker tones, to avoid the "safari" look.

The clutch adds a pop of red color
5. Wear it edgy - there is no animal print in this world that does not look sassy and edgy when paired with a black faux leather jacket. Keep the upper part of the outfit in dark colors, and go crazy on the gold statement jewelry.

Styling tip: keep your shoes flat for this one. There is a lot going on, and it's easy to go OTT.
